A 5,000 foot roll of 10” wide label stock weighs about 170 pounds. If your press is not equipped with a built-in roll lift, you need an Alpha Roll Lifter. The Alpha Roll Lifter has 500 pound maximum capacity and will lift to a height of 48”. The unit is equipped with ball bearings on the boom, allowing for easy movement of paper rolls. Heavy duty casters provide easy and quiet rolling of the Alpha Roll Lifter. (A3C)
The Delta unit is a simple and inexpensive roll turner designed for mounting on a crane or hoist. In use, the Delta will easily lift and turn production rolls of paper from horizontal into vertical position. The Delta can place the production roll directly onto the unwind coreholder of a printing press or a slitter. (G102)
A new, low-cost design for vertical lifting and stacking of rolls of all types. Grippers are fail-safe in the expanded position but are easily retracted for loading and unloading by pushing down on the toggle handle. RWM manual roll turners are fast and easy to use. The simple rotating and balance mechanism allows the roll to be turned with almost no effort, as quickly as the operator can move. The adjustable hoist point maintains perfect horizontal and vertical positions. Quick change mandrels, from 3” to 12”, are available. Maximum roll weight is 330 lbs.
Easily and safely turn skids of paper 90º from zero ground level to zero ground level. Rolls of paper are normally stacked on the shipping skid, making them difficult to handle. Usually, the rolls are “manhandled” to the floor, one at a time. With the Skid Turner, the entire skid is rotated 90º, saving backs and eliminating damage to rolls. The standard Skid Turner will accept skids up to 60” x 60”; 4000 lb. maximum capacity. Electrically operated. (A150)
